Please give me some guidance on measuring the size of our house here in Cerro Azul. I know the process in Panama is quite different from in the US where garage space, breezeways, closets, stairways, basements, porches etc cannot be included. Here, practically everything under roof is measured by the looks of things. But what all? And measured from inside the walls or outside? Surely not from roof eaves! How about ancillary structures like bohios and storage sheds?
I'm sure I am grossly under measuring our house. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Re: Measuring house m2 size
Hi Ted,
Here the say meters of construction. So any construction is included. A terrace/patio without roof is included. Sheds, bohios and the sort will also be included. Measure from the outside dimensions.

Re: Measuring house m2 size
How about two story? Upstairs and downstairs counted double? Or just the outside dimensions of the base structure?
Are dimensions of outside stairs included?
Thanks,
Ted
